James is a senior NHS pharmacist and independent prescriber, currently serving as Deputy Director of Pharmacy in a leading NHS organisation. With over 10 years of clinical and strategic healthcare experience, James has led on high-impact initiatives across medicines optimisation, formulary management, and the integration of innovative technologies into routine clinical practice.

James is currently in the final stages of a PhD, where he used qualitative research methods to explore clinicians’ acceptability of new interventions and identify key service design and commissioning requirements for successful adoption into standard care pathways.
